How to Bridge ETH for Gas Fees

Since Edge devices require staking ATH on Arbitrum, and rewards are given on Arbitrum, but the ATH token is largely traded on Ethereum, users must use a cross-chain bridge to move tokens between these chains.
Using the Arbitrum Bridge
Users can bridge using the official Arbitrum Bridge here.
To stake ATH on your Aethir Edge device, you will first need to acquire ETH on the Ethereum Mainnet and then bridge it over to the Arbitrum network. This process involves a few steps:
Connect Your Wallet:
Click on "Connect Wallet" and choose your preferred wallet provider (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect).
Select Networks:
Ensure "Ethereum" is selected as the source network.
Choose "Arbitrum One" as the destination network.
Enter Amount:
Specify the amount of ETH you want to bridge over to Arbitrum One.
Initiate Transfer:
Click on "Move funds to Arbitrum One" to start the bridging process.
Confirm and Wait:
Review the transaction details, including gas fees, and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
The bridging process may take some time to complete. You can track its progress in the "Transaction History" section.
Once the transaction is finalized, the ETH you transferred will be available as ETH on the Arbitrum network and ready for you to use for staking on your Aethir Edge device.
Withdrawing from Exchanges Directly to Arbitrum
Many cryptocurrency exchanges now support withdrawals directly to the Arbitrum network. This can simplify the process of acquiring ETH on Arbitrum, as you can bypass the bridging step altogether. Check your exchange's withdrawal options to see if Arbitrum is supported.
