How to Bridge ATH for Edge Staking (ETH to ARB)

Aethir Edge devices require Edge staking on the Arbitrum network, and rewards are distributed on Arbitrum. However, ATH tokens are primarily traded on the Ethereum network. To use your ATH for Edge staking and to receive rewards, you'll need to bridge your tokens from Ethereum to Arbitrum.
Transfer ATH to a Hot Wallet: If your ATH is currently stored in your Edge wallet, transfer it to a compatible hot wallet (e.g., MetaMask) that you can connect to the bridge.
Access the Squid Router Bridge: Go to the Squid Router bridge website.
Connect Your Wallet: Click on "Connect Wallet" and select your wallet provider.
Select Networks:
Choose "Ethereum" as the source network.
Choose "Arbitrum One" as the destination network.
Enter Amount: Specify the amount of ATH you want to bridge.
Approve and Bridge: Click "Approve" to allow the bridge to access your ATH, then click "Bridge" to initiate the transfer.
Confirm and Wait: Review the transaction details, including gas fees (paid in ETH on the Arbitrum network), and confirm the transaction in your wallet. The bridging process may take a few minutes to complete.
Note:
Only use Squid Router for bridging ATH between Ethereum and Arbitrum.
The bridging process requires a gas fee, which is paid in ETH on the Arbitrum network. If you need assistance with this, see our guide on how to bridge ETH for gas fees.
The time for the transaction to complete can vary depending on network congestion.
Once the transaction is completed, your ATH will be available on the Arbitrum network as ATH, ready for Edge staking on your Aethir Edge device.
Please remember that bridging tokens across different blockchain networks involves inherent risks. Always double-check the transaction details and use Squid Router to ensure a secure and smooth bridging experience.
